In 2023, after returning from Hajj, I began wearing the hijab. What followed was something many of you will recognise. Finding modest pieces was not the hard part. The hard part was finding pieces I actually loved. I found myself buying things simply because they were modest, not because they were me. Settling for covered rather than styled.

That frustration became a passion. I threw myself into modest fashion, discovering brands, learning what works, and developing an eye for pieces that are beautiful, wearable, and truly modest. The more I explored, the more I realised how much was out there worth finding.

SOOQ was born from that realisation. A space where the searching is already done for you. Curated, considered, and built with our community in mind. For the modern Muslim woman who is somewhere on her own journey to modest style, wherever in that journey she may be.
